Timothy J. Sweeney, JD, CCJAP
Staff Attorney

Mr. Sweeney's position is unique within the organization. Owing to the high incidence of administrative and other legal problems that effect our clientele, Mr. Sweeney has tailored his function to one of advocacy for those clients who enter into the treatment process. As an officer of the court Mr. Sweeney is able to bring to the treatment team the concerns of the boards, monitoring agencies, and the courts, as well as interpreting therapeutic concerns back to those organizations. We know of no other treatment program which provides such a valuable service to their clients. In addition, Mr. Sweeney is the Founder and Director of HCC's Recovering Attorneys' Program and is a representative at the annual National Conference for Lawyers' Assistance Programs .
